Island Garden—Evening

This is the third in a triptych of pieces painted from August 16-20, I painted daily from 6 am until 9 pm, painting the same time each day on the three pieces—which was quite an exhausting feat. I wanted to try Monet’s technique working like this, changing to the next piece when the light changed.
