Shi Shi Beach—Morning Light

Here is one of my two recent paintings of Shi Shi Beach. This was a misty moring—cool, lavender light with a hint of warm shell pink glowing through the clouds. The imprimatura was a warm pink that I allwoed to show through. I loved painting the soft reflections on the wet sand.
